Dr. Belinda Chan, DC
Dr. Belinda Chan is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto with several years of experience in the health field. She has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and has over four years of experience as a personal trainer. During her years at CMCC she maintained a high academic average and graduated with a certificate of Clinical Acupuncture. Her passion for health and fitness is not only seen in her academic and professional life but her personal one as well. She is an avid cyclist and has toured across most of Eastern Canada. Most recently, she cycled through the United Kingdom with her partner.
Belinda’s ideal patient is committed to long term wellness and should be willing to actively participate in their recovery. She wants to help you move, or get moving, and seeks to make living healthy feel good, and feel achievable. Her enthusiasm for health and fitness is described as contagious and she has a strong passion for not only providing care, but also for wellness education- she truly believes that movement is the key to health. Her treatments include a combination of chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, mobilizations, lifestyle modifications, and rehabilitative exercises.
In Canada, Chiropractors are required to complete a minimum of three years in an undergraduate program and four years in a Doctor of Chiropractic program. Graduates of the program are then required to complete and pass a three part national licensing exam and a provincial jurisprudence exam.
