Dr. Kate McLaird, ND
Dr. Kate McLaird is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a passion to help people solve their complex health problems and live the vibrant and vital life they deserve. She graduated from Queen’s University with her Bachelor degree in Science Honours and then continued on to receive her Doctorate of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. McLaird offers a unique functional medicine approach within her patient-centered practice where she combines conventional medical knowledge with scientifically proven and evidence-based natural therapies to treat the root cause(s) of disease.
Her naturopathic focus includes:
- Immune and inflammatory conditions (such as migraines and chronic and acute infections such as a resistant cold/flu or shingles)
- Energy and adrenal fatigue
- Environmental medicine such as heavy metal toxicity and chelation.
- She is well versed in specialized testing and holds additional certifications and training in BHRT (bio identical hormone replacement therapy) and utilizes IV vitamin therapy in her practice.
Despite her focuses, she prides herself as a family medicine naturopathic doctor and welcomes people of all ages. She offers complimentary 15 minute “meet and greet” appointments in person or over the phone, where you can discuss how her expertise may help your specific health concern(s) and you can learn about her personal approach.
She has been invited to be a guest speaker at the Whole Life Expo at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and enjoys continually contributing to the community within workshops and media articles. She provides a compassionate approach to supporting her patients and encourages an integrative care model that provides the most comprehensive care to attain long lasting health.
Dr. McLaird is licenced by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and is an active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors as well as the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
