Meaghan MacNeill, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist
Meaghan MacNeil is a Registered Physiotherapist and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist. She graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology at Acadia University where she focused her studies in exercise physiology and athletic therapy.
She believes in a functional approach to care where your individual goals are her primary focus. She is passionate about guiding clients in reaching these goals by using a variety of hands on techniques. Meaghan utilizes her experience in manual therapy, acupuncture and exercise prescription to address the route of pain and dysfunction. She encourages autonomy and empowers her patients through education and self-management strategies. Her treatment is highly focused on maintaining effects of therapy and preventing recurrence.
She is continually progressing her practice through continuing education courses and has most recently completed education in Physiotherapy for Cesarean section preparation and recovery.
Outside of the clinic, Meaghan enjoys travelling, exercise and time spent with friends and family. She is a retired athlete herself and loves finding time to run, swim or bike.
